The Community & Public sector Union has recently posted an update on the upcoming strikes taking place in Australian airports.
Here is a brief break down.
- A planned labour strike by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection workers, which was scheduled to begin on March 22 and run through April 1, has been cancelled.
- Community & Public Sector Union has been postponed, all Australian airports will operate as normal.
This information has come to light closely following the tragic events that occurred only recently in Brussels. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has called on union members in Immigration and Border Force officers not to strike tomorrow in light of these recent events.
